About Sarah

Sarah TideySarah completed a Sports and Exercise Science degree at Birmingham University and went on to train as a Sports Massage Therapist, qualifying in 1998. Sarah has many years of experience in treating soft tissue injuries and her client base is wide and varied from working in physiotherapy clinics treating patients with varying musculoskeletal injuries and those patients with neurological conditions. Sarah’s sports massage skills have been developed over the years from working with professional athletes in Olympic sport.

Sarah was the massage therapist for the British Sailing Team from 1999-2011 and travelled with the team to events. She attended numerous international regattas, European and World Championships, also working with the GB Sailing Team at Athens and Beijing Olympic Games. Sarah’s continues to provide occasional support to the team at their training base in Weymouth.

Working for the English Institute of Sport Sarah provided massage and Pilates for members of the GB Diving Team and was an integral part of their support staff, based in Southampton 2001-2008.

Sarah shares her passion for massage by teaching and since 2003 has been a lead tutor for the UK’s leading soft tissue therapy training school – The London School of Sports Massage.

Sarah’s soft tissue skills have continued to grow over the years through continuous studying and training and she is passionate about her work.

Sarah trained with Body Control Pilates® and qualified as an instructor in 2002. 
She now happily splits her week between providing soft tissue treatments and individual Reformer Pilates sessions based at her home in Parkstone, Poole. Sarah teaches Pilates matwork classes at the Winchester Rugby Club and at South Coast Yoga in Poole.
